Position Summary

The DMO Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the Data Management Office. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of program data across all service lines. The DMO Supervisor supports the execution of data entry, validation, performance reporting, and automation projects while supervising a team of Data Management Specialists and Analysts. The role also collaborates with Program, Compliance, and IT teams to support system efficiency, documentation integrity, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the daily activities of Data Management Specialists and Analysts.
  • Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate entry, review, and validation of program data across multiple systems.
  • Coordinate case reviews, cross-system audits, and data clean-up projects to maintain data integrity and contractual compliance.
  • Support the rollout, maintenance, and staff usage of performance dashboards, trackers, and data tools.
  • Collaborate with QA and Compliance to respond to findings, audits, and internal reviews.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of automation tools that flag compliance gaps and streamline documentation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal users on data protocols and tools.
  • Train new hires and existing team members on standard operating procedures, systems, and reporting requirements.
  • Escalate unresolved data issues and trends to the DMO Manager or Director.
  • Maintain documentation of internal processes, data flowcharts, and system user guides.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and feedback loops with developers or Board staff.

Supervisory Scope

  • Direct oversight of assigned DMO staff responsible for data entry, case reviews, and reporting.
  • Provides coaching, training, and scheduling support to the team.
  • Supports the manager with resource planning and documentation oversight.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Management, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, data analysis, or program documentation in a workforce, nonprofit, or compliance-based setting.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and data management tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience with workforce development systems (e.g., TWIST, WorkInTexas, FAMS).
  • Experience supporting performance metrics like MSG, Credential, and Employment Outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or dashboard development.
