Quality Assurance Monitor

Houston, TX

 Summary: Reviews case files to ensure compliance with contractual agreements; implements and enforces quality improvement plans; identifies trends, conducts training; ensure data integrity and performance outcomes.

 Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance:

  • Review case files
  • Write, review and/or update quality improvement plans.
  • Present consistent feedback to management regarding areas of improvement, identify development needs and recommend trainings
  • Perform monthly analysis to determine operational inefficiencies and solutions
  • Follow up on previously implemented corrective action plans and performance improvement plans
  • Track data entry accuracy and submit those under 80 % to management
  • Develop analyses and establish reports that can be used to achieve performance measures
  • Perform ad-hoc research and analysis for management. Creates, analyzes, and ensures accuracy of data and output. Server administration
  • Compile and analyze performance data relative to contractual benchmarks.
  • Ensure 100% timeliness of reporting in monthly Performance Tracking System (PTS) database
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, quality assurance, social sciences, or related field. An associate degree with three (3) years of directly related experience in quality assurance, compliance, or workforce development may substitute.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality assurance, program monitoring, auditing, or compliance review. Experience with workforce development contracts and performance standards preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for reviewing case files and data accuracy.
  • Ability to identify trends, develop improvement plans, and recommend training solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide consistent feedback and prepare reports.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and present performance outcomes relative to benchmarks.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple monitoring tasks and meet reporting deadlines.

Other Requirements:

  • Must maintain confidentiality and comply with federal, state, and workforce board regulations.
  • Ability to travel locally for monitoring visits and training sessions

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; for long periods of time. Employee must be able to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, must be able to set up display area.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, demanding both, physically and mentally, and in constant communication.
