Performance Data Analyst
Position Summary
This performance data analyst supports transparency and data-driven decision-making across all Workforce Solutions programs by developing, maintaining, and documenting database queries, reporting applications, and related processes. Working closely with the management team, the role designs and delivers effective reports, analyses, and visualizations of performance data. They will also translate business needs into systems that identify and track trends across multiple platforms, integrating findings into comprehensive analyses. Regular performance and production metrics will be provided in detailed formats for internal review and in dashboard form for stakeholder overview.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and maintain dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Analyze trends across programs and generate reports.
• Collaborate with QA and compliance for continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance against contractual benchmarks.
• Integrate data across multiple systems and create actionable insights.
• Train staff to interpret data tools and visualizations.
• Maintain data integrity, program compliance, and performance tracking to enhance workforce program effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate reporting, real-time analytics, and continuous improvement in service delivery and outcomes.
• Leverage technology and data systems to streamline operations, support strategic decision-making, and enhance accountability.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
MINIMUM EDUCATION: YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in MIS, CIS, or Business.
• 5-7 years’ experience with business operations or data management.
• 1–2 years of experience working with SQL developing queries for reports and data generation
• 1–2 years of experience with report writing tools
SKILLS:
• Extensive knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and SQL.
• Demonstrated understanding of standard business practices.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, plus advanced understanding of data and automation systems.
COMPUTER PROFICIENCY:
• Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Access, Adobe and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Financial Edge, PaperSave and SharePoint is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
2. Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.

1. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; for long periods of time. Employee must be able to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, must be able to set up display area.
2. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, demanding both, physically and mentally, and in constant communication.
