Youth HGCY Talent Development Specialist
Summary: Expand employer partnerships and create pipelines for youth opportunities by building and maintaining partnerships with businesses, training providers, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop employer relationships across high-demand industries.
• Promote WBL, internships, OJT, RAP, and youth hiring initiatives.
• Coordinate summer jobs recruitment, career fairs, recruitment events, and employer panels.
• Support employer partners with job postings in WorkInTexas (WIT).
• Collect feedback from employers to improve services.
Minimum Requirements:
• Associate’s degree OR 2+ years in employer engagement, HR, or business development.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong business development, networking, and outreach experience.
• Understanding of in-demand industries in the Gulf Coast region.
• Experience hosting job fairs, employer panels, or sector partnerships.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
- Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.

- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; for long periods of time. Employee must be able to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, must be able to set up display area.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, demanding both, physically and mentally, and in constant communication.
