Position Summary
While this position sits within Training and Development, the primary focus of this role will be on administrative coordination, operational support, training logistics, and Equal Opportunity (EO) compliance activities.
As a Training and Development Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of training programs and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating training efforts, supporting onboarding, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing EO-related functions including compliance, training, monitoring, and complaint processes.
The primary objective is to support and implement effective training and compliance strategies that align with organizational goals, federal and state requirements, and contract expectations (TWC/WIOA).
Key Responsibilities
Training & Administrative Coordination
- Coordinate and maintain training schedules, calendars, and logistics (rooms, virtual links, materials)
- Support onboarding by scheduling sessions, tracking completion, and ensuring all required training components are fulfilled
- Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and compliance documentation
- Upload, organize, and manage training materials within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Generate and distribute training reports, including participation, completion rates, and required certifications
- Serve as a point of contact for training-related inquiries from staff and leadership
- Assist with preparation of training materials, presentations, and session logistics
- Monitor training deadlines and send reminders to staff and managers to ensure compliance
- Support trainers and facilitators by coordinating session needs and ensuring readiness
- Maintain organized training files, repositories, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
- Assist in gathering feedback from participants and compiling results for leadership review
- Support the development, deployment, and tracking of all professional development and training courses/hours, including work readiness tracking as needed
Equal Opportunity (EO) Compliance Responsibilities
- Oversee and support Equal Opportunity (EO) compliance activities in alignment with federal, state, and organizational requirements
- Coordinate and track all required EO training hours to ensure timely completion and compliance
- Assist in the intake, documentation, and coordination of EO complaints, ensuring proper handling, confidentiality, and timely resolution in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain EO-related records, logs, and documentation for monitoring, reporting, and audit purposes
- Support EO monitoring activities, including internal reviews and compliance checks
- Assist with the development and distribution of EO-related communications, notices, and training materials
- Ensure alignment with TWC/WIOA EO requirements and organizational policies
- Serve as a support liaison for EO-related inquiries from staff and leadership
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
- Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.

- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast-paced, demanding both, physically and mentally, and in constant communication.
